I worked at a children’s clothing store for several years, and I would see a variety of customers. Sometimes you could tell whether they’d spend money once they walked through the door, but this wasn’t always the case. This meant you had to hide your thought process from the customer. There were mainly two spectrums of customers, with one barely spending a dime and the other willing to spend a considerable amount of money on their little one. The later was concerned about dressing their loved one in children’s designer clothing and was willing to pay any expense.

Many people liked how they could dress their children in similar brands as their own. While the clothing patterns may differ, the style was similar. Some of these brands created all the way down to baby sizes. However, there were times, were that 12 month sweater cost close to the same amount as the sweater in the women’s store down the hall. While you can get away with wearing yours for years, your baby is probably only going to wear their sweater from anywhere from one to three months. This doesn’t really justify the expense – at least for that price.

If you want to dress your kids in the style of the season, the main way you won’t break your bank account is to shop for children’s designer clothing online at wholesale clothing websites. Many times these are the same clothes found in your retail store, only for a much better price.

I’m no longer the manager of a children’s store and have to shop for bargains to clothe my girls in style like everyone else. I watch sales racks and visit the outlet malls, but I’ve discovered the best deals on children’s designer clothing comes from the online wholesale companies.
